In October of 2013, Redstone started OTA technology cooperation with BYD Auto, providing BYD with bottom driver transplantation, embeded software upgrade based on automotive chipsets of NVIDIA and Freescale and so on, building automotive FOTA platfom for BYD

In February of 2014, Redstone undertook on-board software upgrade project 5B of BYD. The system is the first on-board terminal system based on Android intelligent platform in China. By communication with automotive control system, controlling the vehicle is realized, such as rearview mirror, panoramic view, night vision and steering mode and so on
