The Weiting Sub-district Resident Service Center recently upgraded its services for the purpose of providing more convenience to the aged and enhancing their sense of happiness and security.

The center and its branches now provide wheelchairs, reading glasses, first-aid kits, umbrellas and other supplies that the elderly may need. A dedicated “green channel” allows elderly visitors to bypass queues for immediate assistance.

The center also offers a simplified printed service guide to older people who are not good at using smart devices and online platforms, and sends teams to visit communities and nursing homes to explain policies and demonstrate the process of applying for its services to seniors there.

Apart from that, the center has set up service stations at Yangchengcun and Tingnan communities to bring its services closer to elderly residents there, and offers one-on-one assistance and doorstep services based on the seniors’ needs.
