Sponsored by the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District in SIP, an event was held in the district on July 16 to give about 50 public institutions and enterprises a helping hand in having technology contracts recognized and registered with related authorities in order to ensure smooth and efficient technology transfer and commercialization.

The technology contract recognition and registration mechanism is carried out in the country to encourage commercialization of scientific and technological research outcomes and promote and ensure prosperous development of the technology market. The amount of technology contracts serves as one of the major indicators of a region’s capabilities of sci-tech innovation and commercialization of related achievements.

At the event, the representatives from SIP Enterprise Development Service Center and a Suzhou-based accounting firm, gave the participants specific introductions to policies and regulations on technology contracts and the recognition and registration process adopted in Jiangsu province.
