The Thematic Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Science & Technology Innovation was held in SIP on July 16 as part of the 2025 World Youth Development Forum. About 150 people participated, including youth affairs ministers, heads of youth organizations, youth leaders from various sectors and key members of youth projects from 64 countries and seven international organizations.
The event was sponsored by All-China Youth Federation and the Organizing Committee of World Youth Development Forum, and organized by SIP Administrative Committee and Jiangsu Youth Federation.
Cui Wei, vice chairman of All-China Youth Federation, Changhee Lee, ILO (International Labour Organization) Country Office Director for China and Mongolia, Li Jianguo, deputy director of the Department of Digital Technology and Infrastructure Construction of National Data Administration of China, Wu Hong, director of SIP Administrative Committee, Vladimir Norov, former secretary general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and chairman of the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence and ZhangLei, deputy executive director of Asia-Europe Foundation, delivered speeches at the event.
The event included a youth dialogue where five guests exchanged opinions revolving around a series of topics such as AI’s role in reshaping the paradigm of sci-tech innovation and AI’s influence on young people’s careers.
